Offensive Tackles (7)

Left Tackle

Will Campbell he was drafted fourth overall in last year's draft and was looked at to anchor quarterback Drake Maye's blindside. Will entered his rookie season with big expectations and performed very well going against sold defenses until he was injured and missed time. Upon his return through the playoffs, he struggled and looked like a true rookie. Now entering this season there are many questions marks is he the Left Tackle of the future.

Marcus Bryant was drafted in the 7th round last season and showed promise all year. He needs to add to his rookie season and solidify the backup role at the left side of the line.

James Hudson III comes to the Patriots by way of the Giants and adds a veteran presence on the line and battle to make the roster.

Lorenz Metz is another veteran who comes from the 49ers and adds more depth on the line and will also compete for a roster spot.

Right Tackle

Morgan Moses enters his thirteenth season and for the most part was healthy last season however the Patriots took measures to add dept on the line should he get injured. Moses will be counted on to add his veteran presence and leadership to the line as well as anchor the right side of the line.

Caleb Lomu was drafted with the 28th overall selection in the first round this year. Lomu comes to the team with size and power and is looked at as a young lineman who will anchor the line for years to come. Now the question is will he be the Left Tackle of the future should Campbell struggle?

Dametrious Crownover is my favorite offensive line pickup this off-season. He adds size and power to the line coming out of college. My question is to team did the Patriots get a steal with this 6th round pick as many draft pros had him going in rounds three thru four. Crownover should push for a roster spot, and I see him replacing Moses next year.

Offensive Guard (7)

Left Guard

Alijah Vera-Tucker enters his 6th season in the NFL and comes to the Patriots to solidify the Left Guard position. However he missed all last season due to and injury, but the team is confident he will return to the player that made him a high first round pick by the Jets.

Andrew Rupcich was on the Patriots practice squad last season and should compete for a roster spot this camp but may end up back on the practice squad again.

Sebastian Gutierrez has been a journey lineman who has spent time on the Patriots practice squad as well. He may also wind up on the practice squad again this year.

Right Guard

Michael Onwenu is entering his seventh season on the team and signed a restructured contract this off-season keeping him in New England. The team will look for him to help solidify the right side of the line but don't be surprised if the Patriots trade him at the final camp cut this year for an established player or draft picks if one of the youngsters push for his spot.

Caedan Wallace enters his third season with the team after being drafted in the third round of the draft in 2024. Caedan needs to come into camp and show he belongs on this team. He will be given every opportunity to make the team as he should push for a roster spot as a viable backup swing lineman.

Mehki Butler is a young lineman who stuck with the team as an undrafted free agent out of college on the practice squad last season. Look for Butler to come into camp and make a serious push to land on the active roster this year as a swing backup.

JonDarius Morgan signed and undrafted contract this off season and he should add depth on the practice squad if he has a solid camp.

Center (3)

Jared Wilson moves over from Left Guard to Center this year where he played in college. The move comes as the Patriots continue to retool and reshape the offensive line.

Ben Brown has become a valuable asset to the team since he came here and will add solid dept behind Wilson as well as could play as a swing lineman in a pinch.

Jacob Rizy signed an undrafted contract out of college and could add more dept on the line but most likely he is headed for the practice squad.

In summary I see the Patriots keeping twenty-five players on the active roster from the Offense this season when the final cuts are announced. In addition, they could add another eight players on the Practice Squad.
